I played on the Sherwin Williams paint visualizer- here are two possibilites:

Perhaps a softer, warmer grey.

That looks lots like my kitchen: white cabinets, blue pearl granite. I have white subway tiles as backsplash and a silver/gray paint. I love it.

I have white cabinets, blue pearl granite counters and white on white glass subway tile backsplash. I kept my walls white and added various shades of blue and green in the window treatments and seat cushions. Yellow is the accent color.

1. White 3x6 subway tile. First row soldiers. Accent row, pencils or smaller tile, everything above same white subway in brick pattern.

I would paint the wall a light gray and then use accessories to being in the pops of color. The accessories could be sunflowers , chickens or something else that you enjoy.

First color that came to mind when I saw the picture was yellow, add some vibrancy. I like the SW Brick Paver the first person posted too.

You could go with a blue and white theme so paint the backsplash an off white. Accent with a color, maybe yellow. . You could paint the backsplash a soft yellow creating a decor of Italian ceramics. Look at patterned dish ware for color combinations. You could also g with a beige backsplash color.

Add a white subway tile to backsplash. White walls always work. Add colors with art and accessories. Think beach, not beachy.

If you want happy looking, go with the dead opposite, on a color wheel.

Gray?

On the color wheel you are going into the Orange colors. You don't need a very bright color and should not on the walls. Abeige with Orange undertones is how decorators can choose colors. A wheat color is a warm color that is in the yellow tones. You should look at some houzz sites with the blue color. Blue and white is so classic and soothing and follows a beach theme.

YELLOW is well worth considering - complimentary and will brighten and enliven things.

Go with either a white tile with grey caulk or grey tile with white caulk. Look for irregular shapes like diamonds or hexagon and don't out rule textures. Use accessories for a color punch. Might cost a little more so save for a couple months. It'll pay off

You have enough blue there. I like the yellow or coral colors of previous suggestions. It needs wRming up.

You could pull out the green in the counter tops onto the wall by using a white back and thin long pieces of tinted green glass tile over the wall surface. Caution though, they say cooler blues and greens are not as appetizing as warmer reds and oranges. You could go with a warmer white than the bright white of the cabinets on the walls, then add in color like cobalt and tangerine with accessories. Cool blues and greys are easily and beautifully balanced by adding in the warmth of natural wood, too.

Do you plan to replace countertop within 10 years (not suggesting it needs replacing)? If keeping countertop consider Aspect glass tile that comes in subway and mini-sub from Backsplashideas (on Houzz and the web). White and other colors. These you stick on. No backer board, no mastic, no grout. Fairly easy DIY, much cheaper than having a tile layer install ceramic or porcelain tile backsplash. Would not install if plan to change countertop (new counter likely would be flat, no built in 4" backsplash) and would not line up if installed Aspect now. Here is a pic of some Aspect glass tile samples (no white sample ).

Definitely Ben Moore's Revere Pewter. Its a light gray that goes with everything!

I have smoked oyster in my bedroom with cobalt blue and white linens. It is a bit dark for a kitchen though.

It depends on what you want the focal point to be- the blue/grey granite countertop or the backsplash? If the countertop, then maybe choose a subdued backsplash; I have a similar set up with a darker black/blue granite with white clean modern lines for cabinets with frosted doors and did a pearly iridescent white-ish rectangular ceramic tiles for backsplash. But if you prefer the classic look, then go with your good ol' subway tiles or soft paint. If you want to make the backsplash your accent, then yeah, like the above suggestions, choose a bold color or a pretty mosaic tile. Good luck!
