Almost said it looks like a citrus but I don't see any thorns, so I guess that is ruled out. Now my guess is Osmanthus fragrans.

The form looks similar to a Meyer Lemon (although flower buds tend to be pinkish), but really, you wouldn't know for sure until the fruit ripen. Take a photo of mature fruit. Fruit shape, season of maturity, color, size, presence of a 'nipple' or navel, rind thickness, pealability, presence or absence of seeds, even a shot of cut-open fruit will aid identification. Also, to some degree the leaf petiole shape can help.

And, lemon leaves have a distinct lemon smell when crushed. Limes leaves have a distinct lime fragrance. Orange, kumquat, mandarin and grapefruit leaves are sort of non-descript citrusy.

That's a Michelia, or recently reclassified as a magnolia.

Does it smell sweet? or does it smell more like bananas.

Put a pic on the fragrant forum, there are people there that collect them.

They will know better if you want a specific variety name.

Butterfly, it's a citrus....we just don't know what kind yet.

Yes - it's indubitably a Citrus. Even the die back on some of the stems is absolutely typical.
