We are remodeling this kitchen space at our villa in NC that we just bought furnished. the big front counter is coming out and a free standing island is going in and the floors will be changed to a medium colored wood plank. The walls are a spice colored cedar throughout the unit. Should I decorate above the present cabinets where that large expanse of wall is ( and those awful baskets etc? I would love to hear your ideas! This is a ski area and summer golf/hiking/mountain community.
