New sectional we just opened

Hi, we got this sectional at he end of nun and we are just now opening it since we were in construction until now. We opened the first piece and at the seam the is a tear. I have taken pictures to send to you. Also legs were already screwed in and they look like they have been on the floor for a while. Very weird?
