Hi jcaplin, thanks for the question! Unfortunately, we were not the interior designer for this project, so we don't have that information. If I remember correctly, the backsplash was tin tiles -- exactly tile tin ceiling tiles. These ones have a more elaborate pattern on them, which we wanted to avoid with this project, as that could make it more difficult to clean. If you're interested in reaching out to the interior designer, we worked with Idaho-based Megan Dawson of M Design and Interiors. They're fantastic, but not on Houzz yet, unfortunately.
