The advantage to having Wolf's certified installers do the install is that it adds an additional year to your warranty. At least, that was the case a couple of years ago. Having someone else do the install does not void the warranty. We installed our own range and it was still covered (but we didn't get the extra year). Their customer service department is extremely helpful; give them a call to find out if the additional warranty still applies.

They are made in China assembled in us so you just bought junk

I don't know how I stumbled on this on my search but just wanted to correct this. Wolf and Sub-Zero are manufactured in Wisconsin @lrc2013.

^ this is correct. They are fully manufactured in the US at two different facilities - Fitchburg, Wisconsin and Arizona. I drive by their Fitchburg location frequently - it’s huge. They are currently adding onto their campus and building a new design center.
