My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Is soapstone highly durable and are there different qualities of soapstone? where did this come from

    Soapstone is very durable as relates to scratching, etc. It does take periodic maintenance by rubbing with an mineral oil coating. This stone came from a local slab supplier in Louisville, Ky. Like granite there are several types and price points.

    would you be able to tell me what this one is exactly. I love it and have been looking for soapstone but this seemed like the prettiest one. Would you mind sharing where you got this piece and what it was exactly.

    Not sure, client selected we took care of the fabrication. I do know it came from OHM International in Louisville, Ky. Are you local?
