Our above-ground saferoom/storm shelter utilizes SIP technology (structural insulated panel) for wall and ceiling panels. All panels contain a layer of KEVLAR® which prohibits debris penetration during severe weather events, such as EF 5 tornados and Category 5 hurricanes. The panels are connected to steel frame components which are anchored to your concrete floor. Our shelter is an engeneered product, manufactrued under controlled factory conditions to exact specifications, installed by DuPont™ trained and authorized dealers and installers, such as me.
