Rick, has your P. saundersii flowered yet?

Martin, No the saundersii has not flowered for me. When I first acquired this plant, I was haste in repotting it into a larger pot. Should not have. It started to grow up from what was a nice compact short plant. This year is the first time I had it outside all summer and it had put on some really nice leaves. I do not keep it under my lights and subsequently the leaves are dropping.

I keep the other Pachypodiums outside all summer, but for some odd reason I never had with the saundersii.

Tempted next spring to give it a chop. What do you think or should I just leave it be?

Love the orchids and the hoyas! A little sad to see your growing season ending.

I am not fond of winter, but one has to make the best of it. I have my youngsters under my lights and this is always interesting to watch them grow.

I can enjoy vicariously through everyone else here.

Alot gets put on the back burner while summer is here and now is a time to accomplish these things.

I previously lived in zone 7a, so I "made the best of it" a few years ago, and moved to 9b. Now I'm thinking it needs to be more like 11.

I get you Jedoba and can only relate from our summers or when visiting climates as such.

A good friend of ours was born here in Canada, raised in S. California. Moved back and stayed here. He said that he missed the changes of the season there?

I imagine it is what you get used to.
