how deep are the drawers and is it possible to create a larger opening in the rear of the vanity to accommodate plumbing?

    Hi,

    Yes, the backboard is made of Grade-A MDF, so you are a able to easily cut a larger hole. The drawers are approximately 14" deep, so there is some space behind the drawers to accommodate unusual plumbing.
