I have built a couple of wooden benches on which I have placed my orchid collection. The benches are 4'x8' each ... 4'x16' all together. They are in our screened-in pool area.

I am looking for ideas on the type of roof I should put over the benches.

I need to have a roof over them in order to keep them from being too wet due to the amount of rain we get

I have thought of building a pergola, but think that's too big of a structure. I have also thought of "simply" putting a couple of studs on each corner of the benches and then putting some poly panels over it.

The benches have casters so moving them around is easy. I have included several pictures for your reference.

Any ideas would be appreciated!
