Help with bedroom wall please?

What should we put on this wall in our bedroom?
Thinking maybe a full length oversized mirror leaning against the wall unless someone has som better options for us. Thanks for any ideas.

Unless you will use it for reflecting something nice or just dressing, then I would hang some art. What else is in the room?

Windows on the opposite wall with a lake view.

    Artwork or photos.

I see that you have a mirror over dresser and IMO the floor mirrors are overrated. Still recommend art. Bedrooms are a perfect place to hang family photos or more personal pictures. Try a series of framed photos. Maybe even pictures of your view.

The mirror on the dresser has been removed, we mounted a tv on the wall instead. Got tired of having the tv sitting on our dresser.

although maybe not quite so many mirrors....

If you put an oversized mirror against the wall, then you'll have four, somewhat massive shapes/rectangles in that corner: closet doors, mirror, door, dresser/tv. I would add one large or three smaller pieces of art. Here's some ideas:

Colourful artwork ... One substantial piece that you love, and then you can change your colours by a few pillows on the bed for a change

Something temporary to fill up some of the wall.

We swapped out the rug also.

I like the new rug better. Very pretty. The picture is too small. Maybe baskets? For some texture - again, don't need that many baskets or mirrors - 3 maybe depending on their size and shape. Also painted frames are nice and inexpensive.

I like mirror there. but instead of plain one maybe something with frosting on it - similar to http://sainteriordesignstoronto.com/dream.html

Do you like your tree art? if so, maybe a very shallow-depth wood shelf to place under?

Beige or ivory? with throw / yellow shams? what's currently your headboard, etc.....?

I like your olive one since its earthy tone draws out earthy tone of wood. The solid seems to draw more attention over to detail in dresser.

Not that this is large enough to place diagonally over your bed, but an option for color:

    White sheets with everything.

Here is a photo of the headboard and a better look at the rug. The walls are painted SW Grecian Ivory.

I do think the picture we hung is a little small for the snack but wanted to put something up until we find something else that works.

I am not a mirror fan. In this case however, if a mirror would reflect the lake view, that's what I'd do. You'd have to hang it, not lean it, and it should be portrait orientation (not landscape). Would the mirror you removed from the dresser work?

Another reason to like the olive rug is the nature setting of your photo, lovely... :)

Golden yellow and green are good together. But what colors do you like?

Maybe something that matches the dresser:

Had a huge mirror from another room, how would this fit? Too heavy to put up unless it's permanent.
