I think we've decided on painting the brick because the interior renos are absorbing majority of the budget and I'm not sold on a modern exterior with wood..

For the garage door we went with a Terratone colour and the gutters will all be replaced to compliment whatever colour scheme.. unsure on colours and open to suggestions?

My concern is that big flat brick wall with 4 perfectly symetrical windows. I've been told to remove the shutters but i'm worried it will be even more bare? I'm thinking of trying to incorporate stone or even a board and batten look to break it up?

I like the colour scheme of the houses below and they're more our style than a modern exterior... The last picture is our house that needs a face lift.

Any recommendations?
