Our traditional kitchen has builder-spec floor tile and backsplash in a dimpled beige. I want to replace the floor with black and white checkerboard on the diagonal, probably shiny black and matte white ceramic. But what to do for the back splash? We have cherry cabinets and uba-tuba(?) black granite counters, and yellow walls, which we won't be replacing. Thanks!
