Need help with choosing window grids

I'm really struggling with choosing the style of grids for windows in our new house build, or whether I should use grids at all!

Note that the siding and trim shown in the examples below are not necessarily what the final colour scheme will be. The siding will be board and batten red cedar, possibly stained with clear or semitransparent or even painted, not sure yet, but definitely vertical siding. Trim may be same as siding or a contrasting colour. The windows are Milgard Essence in Cinnamon.

The next three photos show the south elevation, which is not visible from the road, but faces a lovely view (we are on acreage). The first photo shows different style options mixed together in one image, the next two show consistent schemes with the difference being that in the third photo there are no grids on the sidelites next to the french doors as compared to the second photo.

The photo below is the east elevation view, which is the view that is facing the street (which is about 200 feet away - rural area). I love the use of grids here, but getting the rest of the house windows to match is causing me some grief as they are not all the same shape and size.

The final photo below shows the north elevation, which is where people will park and enter the home, but it is not visible from the road and it faces into a small wooded area with very tall tress. The windows from left to right are: ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, guest bathroom, kitchen, and family room. I'm trying to keep them small b/c they are north facing and because I want big windows on the south side and my budget is only so big.

So, is there a grid pattern that is preferred, or is this getting way too complex and I should just not use grids at all?
