I have a few small rooms that I'm trying to determine lighting for. They range in size from 9' x 10.5' to 12' x 13'.

My original idea was to have a ceiling fan in each room (essential) plus recessed lighting, but I'm worried that the rooms are not big enough and I will get a strobe effect, or the recessed lights will have to be so far into the corners of the room (to avoid the strobing) that there will be a dark spot in the center of the room.

Should I just instead go with a fan with a lighting kit?
