Hello eightpond! My little owl wreath worked out beautifully. I stuffed suet and sunflower seeds into it and the chickadees tore it apart in days. It has snowed here and the temperature has dropped to -20 c. so it was a wonderful holiday treat for them. :)

Tgb, i am a wise mother, we see but don't touch, rest gets stored for many months of no holiday!

having, I could keep chatting on this thread since my husbands side of the family has another Christmas on Jan. 5. They are of Ukrainian heritage. They have a meatless, dairy free meal consisting of 12 dishes on the eve. Actually, the 12 days of Christmas really runs from December 25 to Jan. 5. Well, I guess I could keep chatting but I think I might be by myself! lol, lol,

Today I went to Home Hardware to buy more sunflower seeds for the chickadees in my yard. They were clearing out their Christmas stuff. I snagged this for 5 bucks! (No pun intended)

I also got a frame for 3 postcards that I bought while visiting San Francisco this year. :)

Way to snag some bargains, Roxsol! I just love a good sale!

Thank you Depo! I just couldn't pass it up and now I 'm thinking I should have bought 2. I plan on purging my Christmas decorations after this season and doing something more sophisticated than my usual stuff next year. HOUZZ has inspired me. :)
