RE: OCTOBER OBF YOUR CREATIVE COOKBOOK SWAP #1 and #2 (ROUND ROBIN EXCHANGE)

I hosted the above recently. After a few posts from tonya dawn, to sign up for the swap and then to sign up to play BINGO, we just did not hear from her. When I PM her on October 24 to see if she was still swapping, she let me know that the had been having internet issues. That is all fine and dandy BUT I checked some other swaps and found she had no problem posting on those threads during the month..... A twist of the truth. If she was able get on the internet on the 12th and 19th of the month (and possibly other times that I did not see), she certainly could have checked in to the cookbook thread. As well, she was able to send seeds in another swap during the month, thus she could have sent her cookbook out in a timely manner. Poor, Poor communication.

When she finally did send, she did not post a tracking #. Further checking, she did not get a tracking #, which is one of the rules....you must get a tracking #. Besides sending a cookbook to her partner, she was to include another little something, which she did not do. When she received the cookbook from her partner, she was to take pic(s) and give the OBF group a representation of the cookbook as we were voting on the favorite cookbook. She did not post recipe titles of the lovely cookbook that was sent her way.

The OBF group has simple rules to follow.

Post after you send to your partner and get a tracking #.

Post if you are going to be late in sending, as we usually always have a send date deadline.

After you receive your swap, post what you have received from your partner.

If you can not follow the rules, don't sign up to play.
