I had planted one Nellie and two needlepoint hollies and don't care for the needle points after all. I'd like to draw birds in and have two Weeping Yaupons which I will be moving somewhere (still not sure how to make them look good, hedge, bed with female dwarf Yaupons, etc) and will be moving the Nelly.

I'd like to create a curving border along my privacy fence (proper spacing for the size of course), but not sure if I should replace with American holly for all three, keep the nelly and add two of either Nelly or something else pyramidal, or use only one holly and plant juniper trees, southern Wax Myrtle, move the weeping Yaupons, I have no clue. My yard has some camellias, a few Japanese Maples, some young loblolly pines and just need help.

I plan lane on making a butterfly/hummingbird garden in the Spring and really should finish the border first. Any advice to avoid mistakes you may have already experienced would be a HUGE help. I'm North Alabama zone 7a/b and have some clay. Thanks!
