Trim

I was wondering your opinion on trim color. The trim in our house is white. I saw that you used snowfall white for all of the trim in this project. Do you think it would look okay to use a whiter trim? Or if we do use snowfall white in kitchen and family room for trim is it odd to be inconsistent in the rest of the house. Those are the only 2 rooms that will be completely open to each other. Thank you for you help on this!

I think it depends on how the rooms interact. Generally the more consistent with trim you can be the better. The harsher whites tend to show allot of dust and wear over time. My general rule is to try and blend rooms throughout the house together as seamlessly as possible with an overall general color pallet. Then using pops of colors for drama in certain areas - ie fun powder room colors, smaller areas, or in your accessories. Over time you'll probably have to repaint the trim in the house so you can always systematically change them all. Hope that helps!
