I am in the process of updating my traditional living room to create a more contemporary/eclectic vibe. The plum colored furniture and liquor cabinet were previously in the room. Walls have been painted a light gray (Ben Moore - Penthouse) and I have added the floor lamp, cowhide, coffee and end tables. I plan to recover the ottoman at some point as there is a lot of plum in the room! Also, considering a starburst/Sputnik ceiling fixture in satin brass but am open to suggestions.

I am struggling with the throw pillows but am leaning towards neutrals - black, white, gray rather than really bright colors. I want to mix patterns and textures but am finding that a bit overwhelming! Any suggestions on pillows, drapes and lighting would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
