Exterior paint color suggestions and advice

My 1960's ranch in New Hampshire needs some curb appeal. I love color and "different " wanting to get away from yellow siding black shutters. I would love thoughts and opinions on turquoise shutters (love retro) and really want bold front door. Would coral or red/orange look bad? Suggestions please

Pls note, you are only going to get so much out of us without pics.

First, I generally am one of the many that advise people to just take the shutters off, they seem to come from someone's idea that a house is not dressed without them, but generally they are improperly sized and mcm houses do not need.

if you have a different material on the bottom like brick or stone or stucco. These people are often being advised and enjoy what they call a belly band, which a stripe of a different color a little above the bottom material.

currently color schemes lean alot towards taupe or gray with a lighter trim and a brighter door.

I have a couple schemes for next year that are leaning towards lighter trim, and still a brighter door. ie:
