Hey guys, I am trying to make my own laminate backsplashes and they are coming out OK, but I cannot get the edges just perfect like they do in the factory. I have watched 1 million YouTube videos on how to do it and they all pretty much show the same thing so I don't know what I'm botching. I am using a router with a flush trim bit which gets it close and then I use the file which honestly doesn't seem to do much to sharpen up the edge . Sometimes when I use the file I end up pulling off some of the laminate too which is shocking since I'm following the directions of the contact cement to the letter. Any hints as to what I'm doing wrong would be hugely appreciated.
