The sofa looks fine! Remove the console and put two smallend tables on either side of sofa with simple floor lamps with drum shades behind the tables. Add linen cream floor to ceiling curtains with 12 inches over lap on each side of windowand use double panels on each side of window.

Turn your rug the other way so it has the long side under the front seating part of the sofa. Place your console under the window to the left in the picture. Keep the lamp on it for ambient lighting and place it closest to the front of the picture.

Find a chair in a solid color taken from cool picture over the console and place it at the end of the sofa facing the chaise on a 45 degree angle.

Find a small glass and wood round cocktail table.
