What a weird year! I pulled semi-ripe tomatoes off of the vine yesterday (11/15). I also have roses blooming and zinnias producing. I could NOT seem to get any lettuce going in my little covered winter greens bed (after several seeding attempts) but I do have an abundance of chard. New this year, I moved my chives into the little covered bed and I added sorrell. I've only pulled the garden quilt up over it's top once so far this year.

Chickasha's Atwoods had all of their remaining plants on clearance for 10, 25, and 50 cents so I bought some more chard. It really is my star greens producer - doing well in heat and cold.

The big news in my part of the world is pecans! We're headed out today to pick up bucket loads (I hope!)
