My Betta is having trouble keeping the pellets that I feed him in his mouth. I try to pick out smaller pellets for him. When he is successful in getting one in his mouth, he tries to keep in his mouth, but sometimes he looses it. He tries to hang on to it for a long time before losing it. He does act like he is hungry and makes several attempts. I'm not sure how successful he is in keeping any of them in his mouth. He didn't use to have this problem until lately. Could some kind of ailment be affecting his mouth?
