Roasted insect remains in the worm bin?

We have 8 cats. Waste disposal is a problem. Lately, flies have been a problem as well, they don't seem to care about odor control at all.

I've had this crazy idea for a CFT self-cleaning litterbox. I don't have the worm population nor materials to make it a reality yet, but it's something I'm going to try when I can. I know about the pathogen concerns, but I'm convinced this can work safely.

I've been thinking, once I've got my worm powered litterbox set up, I might be able to exploit the flies as a free additional food supply. I could get a cheap bug zapper, remove the bottom, and hang it directly above the bin, well out of reach of the cats. Attracted flies could blunder into the zapper, be flash cooked, and drop straight into the CFT.

Is a small continuous trickle of roasted dead bugs likely to have a negative impact on the CFT? Will it hurt the worms, or attract unsavory characters to the bin? Is the bin likely to benefit from the additional food source?
