anyone have a pull out table?

hi all, i love the idea of having a hidden table that rolls out from the island. It would be the ideal thing for my small house. Has anyone been able to do this in their kitchen? Can you give me advice on how to start designing this?

Is it just a table with wheels that you tuck under the island and then put a few cabinets underneath? or is more structural support required, like mounting one half of the table to the island somehow? it looks like it only has 2 legs?

I designed a pull out table from the perimeter cab. I was planning to build it myself and just attaching lower cabs to the wall.

Oh I love that pullout table Michou. I remembered this great reveal where they had made something similar. I knew it would inspire someone one day. I loved it. Hopefully you can message them or maybe they explain how it works down the posts somewhere.

rebunky, thanks for the link! that is where i got the idea for a pull out table, lol. I did ask zorroslw about her table but unfortunately, her island is a standalone piece she purchased from a furniture store, so I can't replicate that one. i need to have a custom one because my island will have a sink on the other side.
