I have a small wall like that between my kitchen and part of the dining room. Years ago I found this great panoramic picture frame that I hang there.

I swear Im not having menopause but its hard to give advice when you cant see how this wall relates to the surrounding space

Maybe you could add some panels in line with the cabinets to give an illusion the kitchen is bigger than it really is.

instead of the clock, cute dog sign, and 3 hard to see photos, replace with a single piece of art. if you need a clock, just have a clock.

you can hang the cute dog sign lower, below counter height, so the dog can enjoy it.....

I know...clock picture and dog sign are not doing anything....very random....feel free to post pictures with suggestions. still have to paint walls too so thought about the wainscoating from counter down and then backsplash or variation of it on the top

I think I would put a small cupboard there - for extra storage - dishes etc. Let me find a pictured. For sure, no wainscotting or tile.

I was thinking something similar to this. Maybe it's not the color you might like (on 2nd thoughts it might go with your chairs). You might find something used and paint it. It would have to be narrow so not to block too much space, then hang art work above it.

Create a drop zone with 12" deep upper kitchen cabinet bolted to wall floating above doggie bowl. Try framing in above cabinet then do a chalk paint center for notes etc.
do a bold color for the wall first.
