Yes it is a bit darker. We are doing tile in the kitchen and hand scraped wood flooring in all other adjoining rooms. The colour is Gotham.

You definitely need tonal contrast here, the first choice would just end up rather blah; the second will work far better.

I voted for the mocha tile, but would prefer it matte, not shiny.

Light mocha :)

The light mocha would be a nice contrast to the white cabinets, that will then transition to the multi colored granite. A nice mix visually.
