I used 50% ebony and 50% jacobran. when I applied the floor was blackish/dark brown.

when I went to the house the next morning they were a big redish and orangish mix to the dark brown. can someone please tell me why?

I have red oak I know that may be, but I figured the ebony I mixed with Jacobean would i stopped that from happening.
