really like those chairs!! I have different Chinatily chairs and they are strong & sturdy but the plastic bottoms will scratch your floor. I found flexible clear plastic, felt bottom chair protectors online & they work great and barely show on the chrome legs

The chairs are great but agree not with the table. If you love the table, chairs like these?....

Thanks for the tips cgaborow. Good to know they make strong/sturdy chairs. I recall mounting booster seat on light chairs for kids and that didn't work well. And with another kid on the way I want to make sure the chairs are sturdy.

Yes, I think the more contemporary style works better with the table. But, the chairs you like are beauties. If you prefer your chair selection, I'd find a different table.

Thanks Darzy. That is a good point about the legs, I do like the chairs more, since I do like that look and it's stackable. If there's another option on table with chrome legs that extend to fit 12 people that would be good as well.

I think the style of these are not as rustic so it might work better.

I am loving all of these options, BUT I am not sure that I would want to see a forest of chrome legs. The pretty chair legs may get lost with chrome legs on the table, too. Maybe consider something like this: http://www.wayfair.com/Berkeley-3-Chelsea-Dining-Table-UNI3931.html. The top is a bit less rustic than the original and the wood legs would let the chairs be the star.

Thanks beseaside! I think you are correct, the Grayson table would work better if it's the only one with chrome legs because that's its special point vs other rustic trestle tables. And my original first table was too industrial/casual for the chairs.

I like the Hooker Corsica, but not with chairs. Too much stuff going on under detracting from chair legs. I think you mentioned the chairs were your preference. Simple table to show off the chairs.
