Doing it. You need to keep it outside in partial shade but where it can get some full sun during the day. You need to use a plastic pot and a larger yogurt type plastic jar in which the potted moss will sit. Just cram all the moss into the pot. sit the pot in the plastic jar. Important: water only with distilled or reverse-osmosis water. On the first watering after potting let it soak in a deeper container such as a distilled water bottle of which the top has been cut off. let the potted moss soak in the water until it sinks to the bottom of the water bottle. then lift out to drain, place in the yogurt cup, and water to fill to top of yogurt cup. IMPORTANT: the top of the moss should be above the top of the water in the yogurt cup. Check out my images below.
