I have dandelions in the lawn and they are different from these. There are some similarities, just as with wild lettuce, sow thistle, and plantains.

It may be a function of the light or focus but the two plants look different to me. The top one looks similar to the various Hawkweeds, Hawkbits etc. or other bristly-leaved yellow Asteraceae but not, imo, a Taraxacum. The lower one looks more like a Chicory or even a Lettuce.

The top one to me looks a bit like Catsear - also known as False Dandelion. It has slightly furry, thicker leaves. The second one looks a bit like a lettuce.

There are some 100 species of Dandelions and each looks a bit different from another, but they do have some common characteristics. The one common characteristic I have seen is a yellow flower, although that does not mean all yellow flowers are dandelions.

100 is a very conservative estimate for the number of species and subspecies of Dandelion - it is one of the most convoluted genera there is. However, although the top photo is not particularly clear, it looks to me as if the leaves are slightly bristly. I am not aware of any members of the genus Taraxacum (Dandelions) which do not have smooth leaves. Another distinguishing feature is a hollow stem with milky sap. But without flowers we can't verify that. Both my and tete a tete's suggestions have yellow flowers superficially similar to Dandelions. But they do not have the hollow stem. A picture of the root would also help since the non-dandelion suggestions do not have taproots.
