We enlarged the opening of our front closet to be able to access coats on the left side of the closet which were previously behind the doorway. I now have double doors on the closet, but I am struggling with the redesign. On the left of the closet I have 11" beyond door. On the right side I have 24" beyond the door. I need storage for hats, gloves, etc., double hang space for jackets and long hang space for coats. I was thinking of running a bar front to back just inside the right doorway for the long hang. There would be wasted space behind that, but if the bar were further back I wouldn't be able to access the coats. Any ideas?
