If you like it and it is good shape, don't replace it.

i got over my intrigue with a large tub like this by staying 4 days in disney world at a hotel that had one. day one, all frisky. day 2, felt obliged to use it, day 3, couldnt be bothered, and the unreachable hair and soap foam in the bottom made me realize the upkeep. i knew i'd be dusting the darn thing.

but that was me.

We have one in our master bath and it is rarely used. Takes a ton of water to fill it so the jets are all under water, unless you put two people in it, which isn't all bad :-). If I was doing a master bath right now I would NOT put one in. probably a regular tub or a smaller soaker tub.

Choosing a bubble jet tub rather than jacuzzi in our new bathroom. We don't have room for a large tub anyway, and from everything I've learned in my research the bubble jets are much less maintenance/cleaning issue. Soaking tub would work also, but I am looking forward to the bubble jets.
