What color should I paint my front door?

Our house is a white washed brick with dark brown-reddish roof. The front entrance has travertine floors that match the hues of the bricks and has a single door, currently it's stained dark honey , we are interested in painting the door a contrast color,it's dark already so I will post pictures tomorrow, here is a pic of the lanai that shows the brick and the floor color, but does anyone with a good eye have any recommendations?
