Agree they are small and the chain seems overly heavy looking imo - tons of other choices out there tho -

I agree with others that they unfortunately are too small. I don't know the maker of your pendant lights, but Quorum makes a 16" w one is a very similar style. I also agree that the finishes between the pendants and the wall sconces are just off enough that they compete with one another. So either make sure the finishes match exactly, or choose a different finish or material altogether. The wall fixtures would look better mounted lower so the face plate is about 4" above the window trim. It'll be worth moving them.

Other than changes with lighting, it looks like you're going to have a beautiful kitchen!

It appears you may not have two chrome finishes but perhaps the sconces are chrome and the pendents are polished nickel? At any rate your assumption that the pendents are too small is correct. Without knowing the length of your island I can't advise on corret size. I do advise having your hood installed before making the decision on the lights however. As far as finish goes I prefer the penents finish to the sconces with your wood color.
