My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Marble backsplash behind stove

Hi - we are in the process of designing our kitchen. I love the look of the marble slab behind the range, but was curious about any grease/food stains that may etch/stain while cooking. Have you experienced this? Thank you!

    No problems at this point. I think users need to be conscious of this as they use the back burners...front burners won't splatter that far unless you try really hard to make a mess. If food does splatter that far i'd wipe it off right away just to be safe. We've put slabs behind ranges many times and no one has mentioned it as an issue.
