We are trying to decide whether to paint our kitchen cabinets and woodwork in a satin or semi-gloss paint. The cabinets will be in Revere Gray and woodwork in White Dove, both Benjamin Moore paint colors. I traditionally have painted all woodwork in a semi-gloss. But a few friends have suggested satin for less shine. So I am hoping to get opinions regarding whether satin or semi-gloss finish is more current. Our decorating style is traditional - like the Pottery Barn look.
