The surface creates a great bounce and makes a terrific ping pong table.

I would suggest staying away from this table. If its anything like the pool table, it is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

We were contracted to receive, deliver & install a concrete pool table from an online vendor for a client in the Hamptons, NY. What a nightmare, we will never do one again.

Not only were the wood blocks damaged and loose, the flimsy hardware used to attach the frame to the legs would never hold up the weight of the slates and concrete rails. It is possible that the table could fall on someone if it was not re-constructed on site by our crew. The frame is not secured to the legs, the slates are not properly attached to the frame, as the wood blocks are all loose and held on simply by (2) dry wall screws. It gets worse...

The rails would not line up at the side pockets, causing almost a half inch gap in between the rails. This is because the rail bolt pattern was wrong. The slates used were generic import slates with standard rail bolt pattern. This means that the rails were not built with the proper specifications. It is not the job of the installation crew to rebuild a table of this caliber. Once the rails were aligned, the blocks on the head and foot of the table were blocking the openings for the rail bolts. We had to rasp and sand the blocks in order to get the rail bolts in. Even if they were lined up properly, the barrel nuts/T-nuts were not set straight and drilled properly.

I am sorry to have to write this personal anecdote, and this is in no way trying to publicly bash another vendor. This table could end up seriously injuring someone and the public should be aware. As a professional with a family, would never want to hear of a pool table falling on someone.

I have never walked away from a job and not been happy with the end result in my entire life, I guess there is a first for everything. I'm really for sorry for the client who actually purchased this table. He paid $21k for a table that is not only dangerous, but not even worth half of what he paid.
