Next, we have "Black Robusta" (unofficial name).

Next, we have "Eve". I had a hard time finding this one, but once I found one, I found plenty more.

Next is of course the classic "Whitney". Who could have an Eve without Whitney?

Now, this medium sized variety with dark green interior and bright yellow edges, "Black Futura Goldedge"? (Hopefully Russ will come to the rescue on my naming of this one lol) This particular plant is somewhat sentimental to me; it was sitting on the passenger side front seat floor during an accident which caused the airbags to deploy, and possibly totaled the car (still waiting to hear lol). Not a single leaf broke! The pot is perfectly intact too! This one is a recent purchase so it's still small.

Now, one of my very favorites, "Silver Queen". I have a big one (13 inch pot) and a small one.

Another favorite, "Bantel's Sensation".

Yet another favorite, "compacta". (Thanks Russ for the name info!)

Now, we have a large and small "Black Gold" or "Black Coral".

Finally, the sadly small 2 leaves I call a plant, "BlackJack".

What a nice treat to see all your beautiful plants! They all look so well grown.

All the plants much larger than I expected and I see nothing wrong with the pots. Funny I think 'Whitney' is a great plant! It was not available and suddenly everywhere. It is attractive and a good strong grower. I don't like the looks of 'Eve' for some reason but that is just personal. BTW where on this planet are you located? Are your plants outside in the summer or grown on a good windowsill or ?

Woodnative, thank you for the nice words as well! With Whitney I found one right at the beginning but then it was quite a while before I ever saw another. It is a very hardy sans for sure! Also, I agree, eve isn't the most exciting in my opinion, but I think it's beautiful because it's the reverse of Whitney. I'm located in Colorado, and love it! My sansevieria are located in my medium to low light basement during the cold season but get a vacation on the north side of my house during the warm season; they love it!

Akrrm, I appreciate your kind words too! I love hunting and finding the "perfect" pot for each new sans I get! What a great feeling when you match one with a pot and it feels "just right".

I agree, is a beautiful collection w/ great plants & even greater pots. I'm sure I'm not the only one jealous of your growing conditions (am in NYC apmt, indoors only).

I was going to add (FYI) that under-watering can kill Sans too (ask me how I know that), but from the look of your plants, no worries on that score. Congrats on a great collection & keep up the good work!

Imontestella, thank you for the nice and encouraging words! I have underwatered mine a few times :/ but thankfully I've corrected it in time and only end up losing a leaf, maybe two. I would love to see pictures of your collection sometime!

What do 'they' say about glazed pots?? Most of my Sans are in glazed clay pots. Seem to be doing fine. However, I'm in So. Fla. so very favorable growing conditions.

I think the glazed pots are fine too! BTW Sans Man....No Hahnis?? You can squeeze a couple hahnis in there...........

Jaye, the general consensus is that plain clay pots are best for allowing the soil to dry and roots to breathe, but I haven't had any problems either.

Woodnative, I did have hahniis! I gave them to a family member that liked them more than I did though...I think the hahniis are really cool, but I prefer the medium and large sansevieria, I'm not really sure why, they just seem more substantial lol. I never had good luck with the golden hahnii either which was my favorite, so that was discouraging too haha.

Sometimes people do not like glazed pots because they can retain moisture, and sometimes the glazing is made with lead. A lot of the times these pots are made overseas and we do not know the materials they are made with. I think they are beautiful though, and some of the colors you can get these days are outstanding.

'they' refers to those plant people who take the hobby quite seriously and have been known to give people a hard time for not treating their specimens like a museum collection. they can toss off imho

I love the challenge of trying to keep a certain amount of consistency in the colors of the planters :) I purchase most of my planters from local big box stores such as Home Depot and lowes but I do snag a few from local nurseries in Colorado :) the nursery ones are expensive though! I spend more on the planters than the actual plants the majority of the time!
