Hello!! I am looking to add a couple of trees to a pasture. It's about an acre in size and is irrigated. (One time per month during the winter, 2x per month during the summer). I have goats in the pasture and plan on fencing around the trees until the tress are large enough to withstand the nibbling. Long term, I would love the lower branches to be browse for the goats, while still being tall/wide enough to provide them shade in the summer. I know the goats love to munch on Tipu, Sissoo, Carob, Willow, and Pecan. Out of those options, would any do better than others with irrigation?
