Hi guys,

I hate this hole in the wall above the fireplace. I'm having a contractor remove the upper mantle, close the TV nook, put drywall and mount a TV there. Can you tell me what color i can stain the fireplace? Should I add tiles / stones to the trim? I'll paint the doors all black. Note the flooring is white tiles.

I want an awesome fireplace to soak myself in front off during winters..
