Looking for a rug

We painted our wall a brightish blue (Behr Blue Moon Bay) and have the Radley couch from Macy's in a cream color. It's our living room and we wanted something that would pop but are having trouble finding a rug. 8x10 is preferred and we were hoping to spend around $300-400 as this is a starter home. Any help would be appreciated!! (Colors, design, retailer etc)

I think you can get a rug that pops without going completely nuts :>)

We have espresso furniture so I was hoping to stay away from black. But I like the brightness of it!

Does anyone think this rug would match? Or is it too much beige it would get lost?

You probably should adjust the modules to form an angle or else you need a giant rug it seems!

This is before the wedge came. It's an L shape couch where we definitely need an 8x10. Thoughts on the above picture of a rug option? The Moroccan beige?

I like your rug choice. It could be a bit more contrasting with the sofa but it's so cool it may be just fine.

We just moved in so so far this is all we have. Espresso furniture (need a coffee table) and one accent blue wall. I currently have a rug but I'm not happy with it as it doesn't make the room fun. We are a 25 year old couple who want this room to pop.

That really is a beautiful rug but not "fun". I have a couple of rugs in mind... here is one. I love this rug and it's a little over $400. I've seen similar rug looks for $4k...

It looks like a kilim gave birth! It's nice.

Another nice option I think are contemporary rugs with interesting but strangely nonbusy patterns.

Something like this(Im terrible at finding specific suggestions, some of these cost a "bit", seems Im attracted only to stuff I cant afford, but certainly there are similar options)

You two look like a young and hip couple. Go for a design that reflects that instead of a staged look. Unless you are not "hip". (Smile).

If you want a rug that pops instead of blends in as your current one, go with some more traditional patterns like Persian or Turkish or Moroccan. You'd be surprised how many nice older rugs you can find on eBay. Enjoy decorating!

Hi Devan - here is a fun rug. Think it would work with your couch. You could get pillows in the different colors and then some fun artwork. Maybe some posters.

BTW...I like your rug choice very much but do agree with your concern it may get lost with the sofa and flooring. Not enough contrast with both.
