You can certainly make the entrance neutral so it will go with both rooms.

I do have a question, why are you putting orange accents in the LR? Even if the DR and LR are not open to each other. They are not closed off by doors right?

Keep foyer neutral, except for one orange vase, On table in entry. Consider dimmers on chandelier and beautiful lamp on table. Or instead of orange vase, orange shade on lamp

If you want to add color cover a ottoman in a bright velvet in teal or or yellow it would look wonderful in your space...keep the glam going!

What is the width of the foyer wall?

I am guessing that the foyer wall is 3' max. You will be lucky to find a table small enough, I actually used a end table chest that was taller.

Just some ideas.....console table is from Mitchell Gold. mirror from Zincdoor, rug from Jonathan Adler (but there are several other black/white rug options out there).

You can then accessorize with gold, black and even some orange objects/accessories to tie in the colors of the adjacent spaces.

That console you just posted definitely offers the wow factor. If it fits well on that wall and in that space.....then why not? You should get something that you like! :-)

If so, I think the first gold console you posted would probably work better for something with more "wow" and glam.

I hope you are checking the measurements on the consoles. It will have to be 36". It looks like that wall rounds a bit. Is it flat or rounded?

Susan, yes its a little round wall on the edge, so when we measured, and if i put that console a little away from the wall, it should fit. Do you think thats a bad idea? would it look awkward? Omg...me in fuss again!!! :(

It should fit only into the flat wall area..unless you lean a floor mirror as I suggested behind a table...to give it a really glam look.

Save yourself a lot of grief and get a console that fits pretty much flat against the wall. If you start jockeying it around to fit the curve, you are just asking for problems. Look for a table that is the size of the flat part of the wall. And check for size on every piece you look at. And most of the photos that you get on here, have probably not checked for size, just looks. If you are going to spend $500 on a piece it should fit perfectly. Just saying.

IMO, that space is too small for a floor mirror and a console.

This chest is gold and wood, 33" wide and 34" high very good size. Mirrored front.

The table is 36" wide. The mirror would fit over it....found this floor mirror it has the proper width if it is something you are interested in. The space will be tricky make sure you have all your measurements correct.

The Mitchell Gold console I posted previously could also still be a good option? It works size-wise and is offered in other colors and finishes (see below).

Here are some examples of it set up in various vignettes also.

And fwiw, here are some other options (based on the available wall space). The last 3 in particular are quite a bit more pricier than the gold console you posted originally...but thought it was worth posting anyway just in case you'd consider them. (Or, maybe it'll help validate the gold console as a good choice for you too. :-)))

Zzmom..yes and yess that black and gold i had an eye on it, but only until i saw the price..lol...$990 v for a foyer table, i wouldn't spend that much on it...but absolutely love that piece.

Avery , oh i found it its Mitchell gold...oh no babe...thats $900 + way too expensive for just the table. Iam trying to knock off the entire foyer pieces within $1000-1200 max, including chandelier, rug, mirror n table...

But i loved that table...

Here are 2 tables from o.com (under $200) that would fit and are in white. I really like the 1st one has beautiful curves to it and with the right mirror would be lovely

I think @susan2494 is on the right track - I like the idea of a half-round table. Something about the angle of the wall/walkway - a half round seems to flow better with the space. And white or black would be a good "neutral" to tie in the other spaces - then provide pops of color with accents.

Here is a black half-round boutique table with mirrored top that may be an option at 31" wide.

Regarding lighting - do you plan on keeping the fixture in the adjoining rooms? Not that you need matchy-matchy (it's highly over-rated lol :) But should share similar elements (ie. finish) Also, what is the ceiling height int he foyer?
