Would that be a daybed - used as a sofa and also to sleep on?

The contractor (for plaster ceiling) suggested 4 LeD down light (pure white) and 1 unit of eyebor. I have a room size of approximately 130 sq. ft. They charge about US$430.

Not so much day time but at night.

Any good of these? If I use it on one accent wall, which one will give a better feel of a hotel?

The first Few pictures with white wardrobe is the drawing from contractor, my room layout is similar to the picture in this post. Minus the balcony. I have a small window that side.

I found this picture online, it has basically all I want, bedframe, wardrobe, tv, dressing table but it doesn't give me a good feel.

There's a traditional feel to the stripes? and the other not so much a hotel look. I can't really see the last one.

Ok it's not plaster, but click to see shiny paint on the ceiling / and cheaper. In a hotel kind of color? :)

Just tossing ideas out - on HGtv I heard of mica-infused plaster for a ceiling. I just found a photo of their work. But here's a wallpaper with mica in it somehow:

I see many wallpaper can have that effect.

I have purchased a package of wallpaper. Fully paid, so a wallpaper is a must somehow.

But I think mica is a natural material and so might have an authentic, deluxe look and shine. Is that what you have seen: mica in wallpaper? or shiny stuff?

I google provider in Malaysia. Not popular here. It's some shiny material they used to give the effect. I can see the diff now.

They gave a list to select from. There are hundreds of them! That's why the dilemma and confusion.

You are not living there yet? Hard for me to tell what amount of wall is showing [after the kitchen cabinets and other units]. Which wall has the most area showing after units, after doors/windows, after art, etc...?

Is that why wallpaper is for the ceiling?

Your wallpaper is light - is that cause your unit is dark, and you want there to be cutting off by the eyes between dark and light, does that make sense?

I don't want a dark room...i want soft colour which can feel relaxing but don't mind sth fun. I have now considering to remain my white tiles and the brown wardrobe.
So my room will have:
1. Bed frame - colour not decided ( colour choice as attached)
2. Wardrobe brown
3. White tiles flooring
4. Curtain - not sure what colour yet (the existing is black and white)
Any suggestion of the wall colour? Wall paper?

As a middle tone between brown unit and all the white, what about the deep red?

Art over headboard? - it could have much softer tones of that color.
