Hey Sheptn, I don't know if you had any luck finding osage orange plants, but, if not, you might want to consider growing them from seed. They are pretty easy to grow. You can get the seed from Sheffield's Seed Company. No scarification is needed and Sheffield's recommends 30 days of cold/moist stratification. To accomplish that, you could get by with simply wrapping the seeds in a damp (not wet) paper towel and placing that into a ziplock baggie. Then, place that into the vegetable crisper (not the freezer) for 1 month. If you ordered right now, you'd probably have the seeds in less than a week and they could be ready to plant out in plenty of time.

I have a few (one or two) seedlings left over from last year, but I don't think that few is going to help you. Give Sheffield's a try. You could also find some other neat stuff. If you don't want to stratify anything else, you can even go to their "Advanced search" and choose the "Ready to grow" option.

Don't mean to drive you crazy with recommendations, but I just noticed Cold Stream Farm had these trees for less than $5 each (way less in quantity).
