We are remodeling and updating our transitional style home. It is an open floorplan.The hardwood floors are Jacobean/ Ebony, the walls are light and medium gray with a very pale beige in hallways and foyer. Bought new doors, all trim is white-- suggestions on doorknob color? We are changing from shiny brass, but don't want expensive custom ones. Should we do antique brass, satin pewter color or blackened ones..?! Which are more likely to look updated?
