My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I was intending to rip up old carpet in bedroom and stain concrete. Unfortunately there is tile. House built in 1963. Unfortunatly this tile does not look easy to remove at all and I am afraid of Asbestos. My thought was to lay laminate type flooring over the floor. Guy at Home Depot said the only thing that could go over existing tile was Smart Core vinyl planks. Is this true? Anyone have experience with this?
My limited experience in flooring would tell me to ask advice at a true flooring store and not a box store. Johnny might be the flooring guy today but last week he may been mixing paint.........
There has been some recent discussion in the Coretec thread about Smartcore since they're similar products. Surprising that HD recommended it, I was under the impression it was sold exclusively at Lowes.
